Mark was born and raised in the southwestern portion of the province of Ontario, Canada. He has always enjoyed being outside, and since his retirement several years ago he has become involved in photography. He enjoys many forms of photography including nature, architecture, cars and particularly macro nature photography. He has discovered the wonderful world all around us if we only take the time to look for it.
His motto is "Get Low - Move Slow".
Mark is an active member of the London camera club and has given several seminars on macro photography. He specializes in "focal stacking" macro images shot it under field conditions, the challenge of taking a series of photographs in the elements is particularly challenging.
Mark and his wife and their six cats lived along the Thames river in the village of Dorchester Ontario.
